The 2014 Mid-Winter Carroll County Bird Count was held on January 18th. In many places that morning, there was a light dusting of snow on the ground. Temperatures hung in the mid- to upper 20s for most of the day. However, this did not keep our 11 parties (26 individuals) from logging in 477.5 miles by vehicle and 35.2 miles on foot. Thanks to all who counted!
The tally rally was held at Amy’s house. As always, Amy made sure that everyone was well-received and well-fed. Thanks Amy!
