The Carroll County Bird Club was founded in 1979.  Early meetings were held in members’ homes.  Today, the club normally meets at the Carroll Nonprofit Center which is located at 225 Clifton Boulevard in Westminster, Maryland.  Due to COVID-19, in-person meetings have been suspended until further notice,

The club will, however, continue to sponsor field trips throughout the year.  These may be to local birding spots or on occasion to more exotic locales in other parts of the country. Fall, Mid-Winter and May Bird Counts are also organized.
